No....this era is garbage. Usyk being a H2H monster in a crap era doesn't mean much to me.
Depth means zilch w/o talent in it

This era has plenty of talent they just don't fight often enough and aren't that good on the inside like past competition. Fury is huge with elite skills he'd be top 3 in any era. Dubois is a more powerful version of Frank Bruno but less technical. Agit Kabayel is the best bodypuncher since Mike Tyson and a complete fighter. Hrgovic and Huni are more technical than any big man that appeared before the late 80s. Frank Sanchez is the most skilled Cuban pro heavyweight in history. Wilder and Wardley aren't anywhere near as skilled as Shavers or Ruddock but they are taller and longer

This era has plenty of talent on the surface, but the fact that these guys just aren't fighting enough may skew the perception. Alot of them are actually still in that prospect stage which is very bad for 30 year olds

Mythical H2H matchups mean zilch. Fury is too inconsistent to be rated so highly. Not to mention his resume is still very thin.

Characters not fighting enough doesn't mean they aren't elite talents

If they aren't fighting enough, how do you know how elite or talented they are?

Ibeabuchi would look like 1999 Ibeabuchi if he fought Rahman today. Kind of want to see it tbh. Epic train wreck.

He's as much chance of winning a title as I do of getting it on with Sydney Sweeny.

Things I will remember Rahman for:
    His shootout with Corrie Sanders
    Knocking Lewis out
Getting knocked out of the ring by Maskaev
The alien head on his forehead from Holyfield
Losing to Maskaev a second time
Him saying his favorite meal in training camp was “grape koolaid with spaghetti”

Be stopped even quicker now when Rahman collapses in the ring before the end of the first round in exhaustion, lol

With the right training, he can pull himself back into shape.

You realise of course Marciano retired almost exactly 70 years ago.

We are in an era where fighters don't fight often. Champions are being taken the distance by past-their-prime-years novices from other sports.
But 53 is really old. I hope he does it, but also I hope he doesn't do it if you get what I mean.
