shakur takes it comfortably. hes just a more talented fighter whos better at everything than haney is. he would destroy the elite label some people pin on haney, the same way he did to teo.

Might not be a bad fight! I’ve been as bored as most watching them in the past but have to say I’ve half enjoyed Stevensons more recent fights, I think he beats Haney
Just a shame about the lack of power from both really

That shows it ought to be a pretty good high level fight. Were they rivals or something? That was no friendly spar, Haney was trying to take Shakur’s head off.

Who the hell would fight Shakur if he had real power? He’d be the most avoided fighter in the world. His career is lucky he’s a relative pillowfist.

Linares and Gamboa were at the tail end of their careers, you should not lump them in with Prograis and Loma, or Kambosos.
Ryan Garcia was clearly a cherry pick gone wrong, and a lot of people had disdain for Haney for taking the fight. A lot of people have forgotten, but Haney start talking about taking only money fights right after the Loma fight. His whole "fighting the best" schtick went out in smoke.

I do think his resume is solid, don't misunderstand me here, and I do think he is still taking on challenges, but its only so because Turki is financing it.

Kur don't need power just the balls to get after it when he eventually breaks them down

If he was an american that is knocking out everyone he would be a big star in boxing with drawing power. People would be lining up to fight him because of the money.

Canelo wasn't exactly avoided at his prime. Neither was Joshua.

This is exactly how I feel about it, couldn't agree more. I'm okay with a chess match as long as I KNOW it's going to be a chess match. The worst ones are when you expect two fighters to just go at each other and it actually turns out to be a cautious fight. But this, we know exactly what we're getting. It'll be fascinating to watch their styles against one another. Both technically undefeated. And if we get anything more exciting than that, well, that'd be considered a bonus. But I expect it to be a late night haha.

Keyshawn said after the bananas incident that he wouldn't fight Teo as he doesn't want to help him make money. Can't blame him, that was disgusting. And way too easily forgotten about. If that happened in another sport you'd be hearing about it for months and rightly so. And even if it wasn't Teo who sent them, making light of the incident and trolling him is still the lowest of the low. Doesn't matter who you consider your rivals in any sport, when things like that happen, you come out in support of them, or at the very least just say nothing.

He hasnt had a soft out in...years. Yes, Kambosos lost a ton of value in hindsight, but he whooped undefeat Teo. That was a huge win. Haney dominated him for 24 rounds afterward.

Prograis being at the tailend was kind of a learned thing. His "loss" to Josh Taylor was debatable and he went into the Haney fight as an underdog because he was older.

RyGa was a money fight, not a cherrypick. And it didnt go wrong, RyGa cheated and was juiced to the gills. And - to be clear - the RyGa fight honestly couldve been a draw. Ryan scored knockdowns in 3 rounds and won 10-8 in those rounds. A case could be made Haney won every other round.

Even then Haney went right into Brian Norman Jr who most ppl, including on these boards, felt it may be the end of Haney. Ramirez was another solid win.

Shakur dont have that resume. Tank definitely dont have that resume. Neither does RyGa or Teo. Boots dont have half that resume and hes hyped up every damn day...and he ducked #1 PFP Bud over a network. Meanwhile Haney rdy to make weight compromises for Shakur...

    I **** w Haney
