What? Does that mean there's going to be world cup or olympic threads on the general forum too because they're "pretty important"? If there was a massive sumo event for some major anniversary in Japan would that be here until it concluded and then moved to the lounge? What kind of logic is that? Why have a seperate MMA section if the MMA events aren't going to be there as they happen?

I'm not a moderator so I don't know if this is inconvenient or tricky to do, but if possible I would like to be removed from the roll call for all mma rbrs. Again if this is too much trouble then don't do it but I would prefer it if the current boxing section was for current boxing events and the current mma section was for current mma events.

Usyk will be there in attendance, I think. Is he planning to do something within the UFC or Zuffa?

Gane-Pereira is a very good fight. Pereira looks massive at a bulked up 250+lb.

Disappointed with the card personally. Ilia v Islam would have been a great main event

There will be no political discussions on this RBR, if you want to complain about it. There's a thead in the Lounge for that.

No, obviously not. Because there's no sub forum on this site that covers World Cup or the Olympics. But we do have an MMA forum because it's a combat sport. It's simply been put here, because it's easier access for me. SInce I'll be doing double duty on the UFC and Boxing card tonight.

Gane is a huge favorite, but Pereira's a BIG boy now.

Gane is also big, but used to the weight and way more athletic. That said, would love it if Pereira won

If a hurt Tai Tuivasa can knockdown Gane, then Pereira's got a chance.

But yeah, Gane is a big favorite.

Anyone else think Topuria could be a bit distracted.

Granted their is a big difference in skill level, but JG is a lot lot bigger than him and will be at least 10lbs heavier in the ring

I'm Here for Hokit. The guy's a scream. His performance at Friday's presser doubtlessly single-handedly turbocharged its virality and probably has helped boost tonight's audience.
