Could see a beatdown like Foreman vs Chuvalo where the referee stops the fight with Chuvalo on his feet. Chuvalo was double tough but Dempsey of 1919 was a machine.
Chuvalo stopped late TKO after many rounds of shipping punishment, if it's a 10 round fight George hears the final bell. Longer fights 12 possibly goes distance also he was so tough as we know and durable, 15 round distance I think he gets stopped 13th, 14th or 15th.
Chuvalo would be by far the most talented fighter Dempseys ever been in the ring with and Chuvalo had an very good chin
Wouldn’t call Chuvalo more talented than Gibbons (who to be fair he’s much bigger than), not sure I’d even say he’s that much more talented than someone like Brennan either tbh. I think Chuvalo’s best chance here is if Jack explodes and blows his load (pause) early while trying to knock him out, if Dempsey boxes more conservatively like he did against Gibbons I could see him winning a pretty comfy decision.
Dempsey wins here. Too fast and Skilled. However I doubt he is stopping my man Chuvalo, who was tough as nails if nothing else. Dempsey UD.
Chinvalo's chin is special. Nothing else about him stands out. Of the two great chins Uzcudchin was the better fighter. Maybe by a lot.
