Callum Peters wants Jermall Charlo on the Spence Tszyu undercard.

I'm hearing Jermall Charlo has BAILED OUT of fighting Callum Peters. Didn't want that South Australian smoke.

Charlo will be fighting Koen Mazoudier instead. Makes sense. Mazoudier is a Junior Middle & Charlo is a Super Middle. No point facing someone his own size.

 

Mazoudier is going to get knighted. As in good night and put to sleep.

Mazoudier is coming up 2 divisions and will concede Charlo height, reach and size. Not to mention class. A total mismatch and if Mazoudier even manages to make a contest out of it he will have exceeded all expectations.

 

Yep, can't argue with this. Mazoudier is a career Junior Middle. Charlo, who is a Super Middle these days, would have had a size advantage against Callum Peters who is a natural Middleweight. Apparently a one-division size advantage wasn't enough. I get that the Americans are used to fighting with a stacked deck in which every aspect of the promotion is in their favour, but this appears to be a case of being overly cautious. Peters btw has now been matched with an Argentinian. Looks like a decent puncher so could be tricky.
