That's no guarantee especially as Hrgovic generally outlanded Dubios and was only stopped because of the cut.

Yes, Hrgovic is also known for rabbit punching, but he didn't do it in this fight so I'm not sure why it'd be relevant here.

might just have to bet a hundo on Filip for those odds. This is absolutely a winnable fight for him. He’s a known proven guy; he’s genuinely a top ten world class heavyweight. Ituama is unproven. If he’s not what he’s being sold as, Hrgovic is going to beat him like he stole something.

personally, I think Ituama *IS* the real thing and is about to go on a tear through the entire heavyweight division. But, we’ll see.

my favorite Hrgovic foul is when he punches the TOP of an opponents head. Whenever anyone is crouched in front of him, he does a straight downward right hand.

The first guy Ituama has faced who is genuinely capable of beating him, and who is actually going to show up to win.

Should be a great one. As long as he’s given the right opponent, Hrgovic’s fights are always good watches.

Hrgovic’s issue isn’t the size of his gas tank, it’s how he manages it. He starts off every fight by throwing like crazy for 5-6 straight rounds, then gasses. If he didn’t punch himself out like that, he wouldn’t have issues.

compare to Tyson Fury. Never seems tired, but also is never high volume. He’s very good at knowing how tired he is or isn’t, adjusting activity level just enough to make sure he never has an issue. Hrgovic seems garbage at knowing how tired he’s getting until it hits him all at once.

This is a massive step up for Itauma.

No one he has faced so far is anywhere near the level that Hrgovic is. He has not fought anyone yet at world level and although Hrgovic has his flaws, he is also an extremely accurate puncher with a great work rate who can take a punch.

We will learn a lot about Itauma if this fight happens and a random injury does not intervene. The one thing Hrgovic does not have is elite level punching power, so even if Itauma gets caught its unlikely to seriously hurt him or drop him.

Hrgovic is a tall upright rangey boxer. The last opponent of Itauma that fit that archetype got knocked out in a round. To account for the levels, I’ll give Hrgovic a few more rounds, but this goes one way and one way only.

Itauma will win the fight well, and he’ll probably do it quicker than he did against Franklin. Franklin is better defensively (albeit down mostly to his negativity by comparison to Hrgovic), and Itauma is fast enough with intelligent enough punch selection to hit Hrgovic with combos time after time. It’s hard to imagine him poleaxing Hrgovic, but I can definitely see the ref stepping in to stop a very wobbly Hrgovic from getting seriously hurt.

    Itauma TKO Rd 3-4.

I just want to see Hrgovic land one flush shot on Itauma and see what the reaction is.

Deplorable. I guess it's at least a punch as opposed to headbutts and nut shots though lol

Other than the dudes with belts this is pretty much as tough as it gets fair play, I think Itauma is the real deal though and will stop Hrgovic mid rounds.

You'd think he would have realised this by this stage of his career
