Zhilei Zhang against Dave Allen in September

Theres talk about these two fighting in september. Zhang has to get back and Allen is durable, however I expect a brutal win for Zhang.

 

Very bad match up for Allen.

 

Hope Allen pulls it off

 

Zhang has to knock him out early otherwise he goes into survival mode, but Allen doesn't have much output so Zhang could win by decision...

 

Don't want to see Allen again, doesn't take it serious and is levels below Zhang and Hrgovic types.

 

Another pointless Allen fight. He should just go do misfits slop instead.

 

Is Allen trying to do a speedrun to get CTE? Genuinely what is the point of throwing him in to get brutally stopped by Olympic medallists / elite pedigree guys like Hrgovic and Zhang?

 

Zhang easy win

 

Allen is extremely durable and tough, but he literally has almost no defense. This could be a potential disaster against a murderous puncher like Zhang. I like Allen and hope this fight doesn't happen.

 

At what point does somebody in Dave Allen's life have to step in and get him to stop boxing? Or atleast stop boxing guys of this level.

 

But why?

 

Zhang is so ancient he probably sparred with the guy who laid the first brick of the Great Wall. How he waited this long to start putting heavyweights on notice is a proper boxing mystery.

 

Such a stupid and pointless (and dangerous) matchup... Allen should only face domestic level guys.

 

Zhang is trying to get a rebound win with name recognition and at his age this is what that looks like.

 

If Zhang gasses, I could see Allen coming into the fight, but I’d still go with Zhang.
