Why did young George Foreman look so big even at relatively low listed weights?

    Which rankings is that?

Ring has Huck at #6 in the annual 2016 rankings, then not in then in the 2017 rankings. After which, he then lost to Briedis. Ring also don't have Arslan, Bellew or Wlodarcyzk in theirs.

From the December 2017 issue, ratings as of 28th of August, the most recent before the fight.

Best versions I think Uysk wins on points as well.

But I think Foreman looked better against Schultz than Uysk did vs Rico.

Take Usyk from the Rico fight and put him against Foreman instead of Schulz, and he does the same job, maybe even better.

I don't know. I am just saying to me Uysk looked worse but I imagine he would take Foreman more seriously which could be different story.

    That's just wrong though.

Frazier was the champ, Roman was the #9 contender in the August 1973 rankings, and Norton was the #4 contender in the February 1974 rankings.

    Right, forgot Roman was ranked.

Yeah but from which organisation? Ring? Because I'm struggling to see how Huck went from ranked in 2006, unranked at the start of 2017, then ranked again after a loss.

If Huck is ranked then I stand corrected but I'm positive he isn't, or at least that it's very weird rankibg.

Like I said, it was a December 2017 Ring issue, ratings as of 28th of August.

Foreman being closer to to 6'4 is not a bridge to sell, but I'd be willing to concede him being a tad above 6'3, rather than below. Either way you are right, I misremembered him being confirmed 6'4.

The Ring has Huck rated at the time he fought Usyk.

However, by this time, the authenticity of the rating doesn't stack up under scrutiny, in my opinion.

My guess is that Huck's rating was buoyed up to extend his status a little longer, and give the Cruiser tournament and Usyk some time to maximize Huck for marketing purposes.

In reality Roman wasn't top 10 or even close.

Ah, you didn't say it was ring but I should've got that from context. And if Huck was ranked, then he was ranked. My bad on both fronts.
