Foreman that fought Holyfield would KO AJ, because that's what AJ is.

sidenote: I know there's many people that did not even see fight Bowe live, in his prime, that spout parrot BS.
    Bowe > AJ

I don't think AJ could last much more than three rounds against Bowe. Just like Dubois-AJ.. and..

    Bowe > Dubois too

I can agree with this to an extent. Foreman was trundling down the home straight of his second career by this time, and we know that two faster heavyweights, in Morrison and Moorer, shined a light on his decline, despite Foreman pulling off the win against the latter.

That said, 'Rematch-Ruiz-Jr' provided a quite opposite effect. He was utterly woeful against Joshua the second time around, and flattered Joshua in no small way.

Foreman '94 could still bring the pressure and would force a fight, so Joshua would have to find a way to deal with that. I'm just not sure he can treat Foreman like he did Extra-Pudgy Andy. So, he'd probably have to show us either something new or again find the grit he mustered against Wlad.

I wouldn't bet on this fight; partly because the once resurgent Foreman was by then fading, but still carried power. At the same time, I wouldn't have enough faith in AJ to place money on him getting the job done.

I agree with all three assessments.

I will just condense this because I don't have time for this

The most embarrassing moment of all is getting knocked out and punched around the ring by an obese non puncher in Andy Ruiz, Ruiz couldn't even beat a 40 year Chris Arreola in a slugfest and got dropped.
Lewis landed frightening power shots and combinations on Mercer. You just said Holyfield is way more dangerous in the pocket than Lewis which is why he could drop Mercer, but Lewis has superior creative offense on the inside than joshua ! Wheres the logic bro ?

Unicorn one night only best Bowe is better than almost anyone at the weight. Some kind of monster. Jeez his light burned bright but we were returned to darkness before we saw it at full power. Coulda beens are always great to discuss, ain't they?

On coulda beens, I'm a big fan of Tommy Morrison. This thread made me think, if he had concentrated on boxing as he did in the Foreman fight, if he had continually improved his technicalities, mobility and defence instead of snorting coke, banging anything and training his left hook, how far could he have gone? He had the physical attributes and athletic ability to 'be a boxer', but the kid liked to stand and bang...

Foreman would probably duck Ruiz, which says it all honestly.

AJ has better combinations up close than Lewis, 90% of Lewis’ power was from that nuclear bomb of a right cross at long range, he didn’t have much at close range beyond a hellish uppercut. AJ has nasty shovel hooks, good body shots and a hell of an uppercut himself.

    Are you larping ?

He landed long right hands in that fight and the only punch aj throws better than Lewis up close is the left hook.
Ruiz is tailor made for Foreman.

Vast majority of his punches were jabs and hooks up close because he couldn’t consistently keep Mercer away from him. No AJ has better left hooks, better right hooks, better body shots and he puts his punches better up close.

Ruiz would look like prime Holyfield against 90s Foreman. Easily.

Can you provide these examples of joshua fighting on the inside and exchanging with combinations like Lewis did against Mercer ? He is more methodical than Lewis, he wasn't more efficient

    Also nice ragebait

Thank you, Sir. I say part of that because I just watched Dubois-Joshua recently. Yeah, Bowe, there. And I left one out:

    Bowe > Fury

people criticising Bowe because he went 2-1 vs. do-nothing-heavyweight Holyfield.. (should be an eye-rolling emoji here)

I think Fury at his best would be a good fight with Bowe. I'm not going to argue that he would beat him however. Bowe did bring a lot to the table for a while.

True enough. I can't really argue against that (like the other brash posters in this thread).. But I also forgot:

    Bowe > Wilder

That's about it. Notice how I didn't bring up Usyk. Peer pressure on this board is so strong that if you criticize Usyk opponents you might become ostracized. But I don't care about that. After watching Dubois-Joshua recently, he is better than all of them. Joshua.. shhhh..
