I like kabayel and I am german, but I don't see it so clear cut. Pretty close to a 50-50 and one of the best fights out there, for me.

Kabayel, dubois, itauma and maybe hrgovic could do a little tournament for the next champion :)

A tournament like that would be amazing but sadly there'll be some dodgy moves going on in the background now the titles are up for grabs

If Zhang couldn't keep Kabayel down (and he was very durable, bringing stylistic issues as a southpaw) I don't see Dubios who is famous for quitting doing much better.

Dubios is horrendously overrated and Kabayel would be very happy to prove it.

Heavyweight boxing is almost irrelevant in the Western Hemesphere and most of Asia. I think HW boxing is only profitable in Europe and maybe some Eurasian countries.

thinking this through, how? Kabayel relies on pressure and volume, meaning he’s going to have to stand in front of Dubois, which is a pretty dangerous place to be. Yeah, it worked on Zhang, but Zhang has no stamina. Dubois doesn’t have that issue.

Kabayel can box comfortably on the inside, Dubios can't. Throwing brutal body shots will take away Dubios's offensive ability rather quickly.

I don't see many above him. You could put kabayel and usyk above him. Who else? Old fury? Meh. Hrgovic maybe if you really want. Parker won't be easy to argue. Itauma would be an option. Even with usyk we don't know how much of his loss was down to him getting old...

So if you say all of them are better he is still #7, which is quite good.

I say it is between old usyk, kabayel and dubois.

Depending on the hrgovic fight, itauma might enter that list.

Fury has lost his feet and is simply older now.

Fury outboxes him, even in his sorry physical state. Hrgovic? Remove the headbutts and maybe. Parker would cause him issues, which is why Dubios ducked him. Itauma would stop Dubios in 3 rounds with his awkward angles and speed. Usyk always beats him.

The rest of the top ten is meh and shouldn't even be on the list. There isn't really much talent in the pool at the moment, which is precisely why such a basic fighter like Dubios is even on the top 10 to begin with.

    Basic? Yes.

    But pretty good nonetheless.

Even though he has the quitter label and some crazy people think he has a bad chin, he is actually a force to be reckoned with when he has some success at all. He doesn't quit as long as he sees a chance of winning. And he has a great (!!!) chin. For starters compare how fury reacted to a way weaker punch of usyk than the one that knocked dubois out (where i assume he didn't see any chance going forward and just didnt bother getting up after the kd, because he walked straight back to his corner after that).

So we have a very strong guy, great chin, great experience for someone at 28, great jab, good stamina and the way he dismantled joshua showed us, he can also slug like a champ.

So no he isn't lennox lewis or klitschko or usyk or whatever, but if you match dubois with joshua age for age, I think I would have dubois ahead at least most of the time. To me it seems clear, that joshua would have lost to that joyce, too. Probably even worse.

But I think apart from the pure boxers he would make an entertaining challenger for many heavies in history. He wont win, but we can't start bashing fighters for not being ATGs
