Usyk is vacating all the belts!

    Usyk was always made to order for Wilder, IMO.

    I've wanted to see them fight since the 2008 Olympics, when they should've met in the semifinals, but Usyk lost in the quarterfinal.

    Just because A beats B and B beats C ... doesn't mean A beats C.

    We saw it with Ali, Foreman and Frazier.

    Usyk could probably defeat Fury every time, but Wilder beats Usyk.

    Usyk is begging Fury for a trilogy bout

    Meanwhile AJ the bum is probably crying over contract terms having to walk first against Fury hehe

    Meanwhile Kabayel now wants Fury himself because nobody else will fight him

    Case in point all roads lead to Fury

    I’m in for that one. I have no issue with senior tour fights assuming both guys are a similar age.

    As a southpaw, I know an awkward straight right is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Issue is the speed, mobility and the seemingly titanium chin Usyk possesses.

    At this stage of their careers where they have both declined? Why not. It would be an interesting fight on paper at least.

    Usyk looked very good last year (although it's arguable that Dubois' style made it easy for him), he could have largely faced Kabayel after that.
    It was a very intriguing clash of style. The fact that Kabayel is an effective pressure fighter with good bodyshots (things that seems to be Usyk's relative "weaknesses") certainly played on Usyk's mind.

    Lol. Styles don't matter when the levels are that different. Any one of Usyk's six wins against Fury, Joshua and Dubois is better than Wilder's entire career.

    For all this talk of Usyk being weak to the body somehow he has managed to remain undefeated in coming up for 17 years (and it should really be 18) despite fighting at the elite level throughout virtually all of that time, whilst fighting on the road or in his opponent's backyards for the vast majority of that time, having fought a murderer's row of punchers, and obviously SHW sized giants in the WSB and at HW in the pros

    And IIRC in all that time he has been dropped a grand total of 1 time by a body shot and even then he ever so briefly voluntarily took a knee and he was completely fine.

    Or a grand total of 2 times if you consider the shot vs Dubois as a legal body shot, either way both of those guys are murderous punchers with KO 95% as pros and obvious Dubois is way bigger than him

    And dropped a grand total of ZERO times by headshots in all that time and his entire career am and pro which is almost unheard of

    Did Floyd have a weakness upstairs because Judah dropped him, Shane had him out on his feet for a second or two, and Chop Chop hurt him too?

    What about Inoue who has been dropped x 2 and hurt x 1 in his last 7 fights?

    But these false narratives still persist when it comes to Usyk

    Usyk is 39.5 y/o and Father Time is his greatest threat because Father Time is always the tag-team partner of any opponent he squares off against at his age and stage of his career.

    Even the still long past his prime Usyk who fought Dubois in the rematch would stand a good chance of beating Kabayel and doing so even in Germany because he still looked powerful and sharp in that one despite being slower and more flat-footed and I can see that version walking Kabayel into big counters and hurting him badly like he did to Dubois. But Usyk looked every day of his 39 years of age vs Rico.

    However, the prime version of Usyk or even the Usyk of a few years ago was on a completely different level to Kabayel and at absolute worst be wins that fight comfortably but much more likely outclasses him

    If he's still staying active then he better be fighting Kabayel next, otherwise it looks like a blatant duck. No one wants to see another Rico, Wilder or a Fury 3 bout, nor do they deserve it.

    Usyk would be an horrific stylistic match up for Wilder.
