He just fought three months ago. He fought seven before that, which is well in the range of acceptable. Before that was another seven.

The main thing that drives PPV numbers is name recognition. None of these fights are relevant but the sad truth is the 3 fights that would do the highest buyrates would still be Fury v AJ, AJ v Wilder and maybe Canelo v Benavidez.

The best boxing matchups with no "superstars" top out around 500,000.

I would like to see Beterbiev Vs Benavidez.

With the correct marketing they can make this into a very good PPV fight

It might derail Benavidez's career though because Beterbiev will send him to the hospital

A lot of them happened in the last couple years like Usyk Fury, Bivol Beterbiev, Inoue Fulton, Crawford Spence.
The young lads need to step up and fight each other like Teo v Shakur, Ortiz v Ennis.
I would love to see Fury v AJ, Bivol v Benavidez, Opetaia v Zurdo to name a few.

    He's an absolute slacker, Wiz.

The most he should get is an hour off at Xmas...

    Fury-Joshua is all that's left? Two has-beens.

Inoue v Bam Rodriguez should happen in the next 12 months, I hope.

Idk about all-time low though I also cant really dispute that tbh. But I can't personally remember a time when boxing had less pull. Nobody is taking the reins. The young prospects that were supposed to takeover - Teo, Shakur, Haney, RyGa, Dubois, Vergil, Ennis, Benavidez, Nakatani, etc. - have all either fizzled or just fight too infrequently versus poor competition.

When GGG went on his run, he wasnt beating great competition but boy was he active. He did what Benavidez did except did it every 3-4 months...and in better fashion. When Loma went on his run, he didnt make excuses about weights or contracts, he just made the fights and won at weight classes he has no business (130-135). Canelo had a storied run of taking tough out after tough out. There is no fighter today that does that - none. Ennis is over 30 years old and hasnt fought 1 single meaningful fight in his entire career, literally.

I agree. He's another overrated fighter. I don't care what he does vs Xayas who is also overrated. Too many of these guys build careers fighting bums.
