Izon was a better tactical Boxer than Peter he just wasn't as powerful. Peter doesn't have the height, reach or the speed and movement to be a serious problem, it's is durability and power alone, but he has no head movement

Styles make fights, he has a thudding jab coming forward so he should've gave Maskaev more problems but Maskaev was also 39 ! Tua would find Peter's punches easier to evade. He's right there unlike Maskaev and rarely using head movement in comparison to Tua. Peter has a bigger presence in the ring but Tua is craftier on the inside McCall destroyed Maskaev with one right hand so I guess he's levels above both.
Peter and McCall were a level above Tua, who was very dependably limited but made for a great highlight reel.
Vitali grinds out a win on points, it'd be an incredibly taxing fight for both though. Ike would've been a problem for any of the heavyweights between 1997 and 2010, it's a shame he pissed his career up the wall. Would've been fascinating to see him against Wlad, I'd give him a better chance vs Wlad than Vitali, especially if he'd have fought him between 1999 and 2005. Wouldn't fancy him to beat the more dominant Wlad from 2005 onwards, but it's a shame that Ike ruined his career because he'd have been a welcome addition into that late 90's mix.

Vitali can challenge him for that title tho. He's a H2H monster in some people's eyes without even beating an elite HW in his career. Ike's best wins (Tua & Byrd) are better than Vitali's (Sanders and Peter).
Honestly, judging by their fights, I’d say Vitali—even though it’s a bit of a paradox. Hmm... Vit struggled to defend against long punches and overhand rights—the kind thrown by "Big" George, Lennox, or Tim Witherspoon. Ike could throw those, but it wasn't his specialty. Styles make fights. It’s a tough call because I never saw Ike face an opponent like Vit, whereas Vit easily beat several fighters who were lesser versions of Ike. It’s a 50/50 toss-up. I honestly don't know anymore. It’s a shame Ike retired so early; I get the feeling he was just getting better and better. If he’d fought Grant, I know he would’ve won, but against Vit?
You can argue all you want, it was a close fight, but he did get the W and the majority of observers thought he won too.
