When the WBOgus members and Daniel Dubois look in the mirror do you think they look down in embarrassment or collapse harder than Dubois did against Usyk laughing their heads off. Come on. Does anyone here really give a **** about the belts or who’s holding one. Dubois is now the champion of the organisation whose belt was given up by the man who Dubois lost his last belt to, a bet that was taken off that same man. ETC ETC ET ****ing Cetera. Exhume the language.

I'm genuinely curious about your reasoning.

If the division was healthier I would be down to see Usyk v Wilder.

I get the appeal. It's a fun fight.

Zhang was a top 10 fighter when he beat him.
And Sanchez + Makhmudov are also good wins.

Zhang is older than The Great Wall of China, and Sanchez had knee injury. Makhmudov is not in top 20.

Smaciki, who is #196 in world heavyweight rankings knocked down Kabayel in round 2. That tells enough about Kabayel.

Zhang had destroyed Joyce twice (whom many saw as a top contender), narrowly lost to Parker (a top 10 fighter) while knocking him down twice and destroyed Wilder.

Sanchez and Makhmudov were unbeaten, good punchers and well ranked IIRC.

It's always easy to dismiss a win after the fact.

Ali was knocked down several times, wasn’t he? Doesn’t mean so much.

This is the fight I actually want to see. If they can promise wardley to get the winner that would be awesome.

When Joyce fought Zhang, they were 37 and 39, it should have been broadcast on the History Channel

When Kabayel fought Zhang, Zhang was 41 - got more mileage than a taxi cab.

I think it’s great. Why pay all those ridiculous sanctioning fees and fight the pointless mandatory opponents when you are THE champion. Usyk doesn’t need the belts he’s still THE heavyweight champion without them. They are all paper belts now and 100% meaningless. Any fighter winning one of these belts is meaningless they aren’t worth anything as long as Usyk is still fighting.

Usyk has taken punches from Joshua, Dubois, Chisora, Fury, Briedis, Gassiev, Bellew, Huck, Glowacki, Joyce, Beterbiev, Russo...

Wilder is not going to give him anything new.
