I knew it must have been important to keep the Prowler off the board. Congrats on continuing the dynasty & maintaining the lineage. Lineal champs only!

Just caught the highlights, Boots just too much power. Zayas showed some heart and can take a shot though!

Zayas is only 23 and can learn a hell of a lot from this fight - especially in terms of playing to his strengths, his gameplan was in Boots favour, he should have been following the Bivol v Beterbiev blueprint and used his boxing skills, and MOVED HIS HEAD OFF THE LINE.

Boots was as he usually is, fast explosive, powerfull, but with flaws that other fighters - maybe Ortiz or Madrimov? can expose, he gets hit way too much, and if Zayas could rock him like in round 3 then he could come seriously unstuck against them boys.

Right now I'd favour Ortiz and Madrimov over boots

If you watch Ennis' fights earlier, he had much better movement and defense, it is rather bizzare that he can't fight like that anymore.

I agree with you about Zayas. He made it a brawl much too early. IMO, Ortiz and Madrimov could beat Ennis, but both probably need a fight or two to get in peak physical condition. To be honest, Fundora would beat the Ennis we saw last night.

Fun fight to watch last night but j get the impression Boots is in love with his work which leaves him open to getting tagged
Last night should be a wake up call to him as he was out on his feet for a period of time
But he is entertaining so let him carry on being like this

Nope. Why is it such a stretch, he gave Crawford a lot of trouble, with many thinking he earned a draw. Hard to hit clean, good defense and has solid pop. Was beaten clearly by Vergil, but various reports that he was far from 100% in that fight.

Boots has flaws and Madrimov's style could be a real tricky proposition for Boots

Just caught the DAZN highlight, looks like Zayas fought the wrong type of fight in there and traded too much. He had moments but got clocked being too aggressive. Nice win for Ennis, hopefully Ortiz or Fundora are next
