Ajagba sounds weird but if he signs with Zuffa for a final match, Ajagba is a believable Zuffa signed contender

Usyk will likely fight Wilder

I understand why

While Wilder is clearly past it, Usyk would look at that as a personal achievement

The big 3 was Joshua, Fury and Wilder (No matter how much this forum hates Wilder) and Usyk wants to say he beat everyone of note in his era

Its like Lennox Lewis beating Mike Tyson in 2002 minus the money part

You're conflating a punchers chance with being dangerous.

While it would be an interesting fight, let's not pretend Wilder is anywhere near his former self.

 

If 'Rico' Usyk is representative and indicative of where he is now; I don't think it is, but think there are enough red flags to suggest it might be a long road back to sharpness and fitness, he really should retire or take big money 'celeb' fights. I think there is a chance someone like Wilder chins him, even now. Rico caught him clean several times but despite his suze and condition, he isnt a puncher, and certainly not the puncher Wilder is. I don't think Usyk has the power to use a similar get out of jail free card against Wilder if things are going badly...the talk of Wilder being shinny is for the birds, it really is. I'll give Usyk huge credit if he fights Wilder at this stage.

It's you who's trying to shoehorn "dangerous" in there. Usyk shouldn't get much credit for knocking out an older and lighter Wilder, because it's essentially an exhibition match. Is there a chance Wilder lands a hail mary? Sure, but it's minute at best.
