    Round 1 Cato-Cain 10-9

Feel out round, CC tossing out stay away one twos. Goes southpaw, which is a weird choice against a southpaw KO artist.

No. I think I might have seen him before but only once. He looks very good, big, pretty athletic, good speed, skills and power

    But this confused me

    From his wiki

'On 14 October 2023, Zokirov made his professional debut against Hugo Trujillo. He won the fight by a fourth-round technical knockout'

So I checked out Trujilo's boxrec page and I couldn't see Zokirov's name on there at all. I saw Jololov's and then I thought let me check again because maybe they both fought him and they used him as a yardstick to see where Zokirov was at compared to his countryman which would make sense but Zokirov never fought him

And then after briefly checking out some of Zokirov's amateur fights I tried to find footage of him as a pro but I could only find a YT short and I wasn't sure which of his pro opponents it was so I checked his boxrec again for their names in order to do a search on YT for his fights vs them and I noticed the date he fought his 2nd opponent was today, completely forgetting you'd mentioned in your initial post about him that he'd only fought once so far and while I was doing all that I missed the fight.

I assumed the card hadn't gotten underway yet as it's early for US cards and had I just checked the thread again and not just your post to me it would've saved me that hassle and I would've seen the fight

But I blame that idiot responsible for the erroneous wiki entry because it was what initially sent me down that path of confusion

    Round 1 Cato-Cain 10-9
    Round 2 Cato-Cain 10-9

Brown landing thudding jabs, throwing wild haymakers with the left, most falling short. DCC landing pitty pat one twos. Brown better, but got outworked. Wasting too much time looking for the KO.

    Round 1 Cato-Cain 10-9
    Round 2 Cato-Cain 10-9
    Round 3 Cato-Cain 10-9

Brown jabbing much better, but still getting comprehensively outboxed.

Brown needs to bag a few rounds before looking for the KO so obviously

I haven't been paying attention to the amateurs nearly as much as I used to, because there's not many out there worth paying attention to. But when I did my HW prospects thread a few months ago, Zokirov is one that leaped out at me and bashed me over the head viciously. I might end up doing an Educate Yourselves thread on him. He's no Usyk, but he's actually more impressive to me than Jalolov is. As crazy as that might sound. As far as the whole confusion about his record. All of these semi pro matches have ****ed me up totally as well.

    Round 2 Cato-Cain 10-9
    Round 3 Cato-Cain 10-9
    Round 4 Cato-Cain 10-9

DCC dominated the majority of the round, but Brown came roaring back late to landed several heavy shots to the head.

    Brown looks tired
Possibly why he is looking for a ko

Almost paid off towards the end of the round there

    Round 2 Cato-Cain 10-9
    Round 3 Cato-Cain 10-9
    Round 4 Cato-Cain 10-9
    Round 5 Brown 10-9

Brown comes out hard charging, trying to back him to the ropes, but walking into counters. Brown whipping in some vicious right hooks. Brown landing one twos to the head, now going to the body.

Interesting fight. Wonder how much Brown has left pushing 40.
