Usyk likely to fight Wilder next according to Eddie Hearn

Eddie has also said he thinks Usyk will rematch Rico in Amsterdam, so he's not 100% reliable. Turki wanted the Rico rematch in Amsterdam.

 

Fury is featherfisted. Wilder is a Glass Jawed fighter. He has no Chin.

 

Chisora nailed him with the same bombs that put Joyce and Wallin on their asses, and he tanked them. His chin is fine. He won’t quit and has a ton of heart.

Nobody else would get a break for doing this in Boxing and as much as I like Usyk and what he has achieved,who ever is calling the shots for him right now has done him no favours ! Just imagine if Fury had dropped his WBC belt and other titles after his poor showing against Ngannou and ducked Usyk and instead gone after a shot fighter instead ! Fury would have been ripped on here thread after thread and rightly so,we ALL know that !

 

I disagree. If after fury’s showing shah ngsnnou he said it dropping the belts and will have my last fight against a shot opponent. Most would have said he has come to the realisation he hasn’t got it anymore. Good luck to him and enjoy the last dance. I’m no fury fan but that’s what I’d have said and from what I’ve read more folks than just me

 

HA HA The only people that would say that are the people defending Usyks current actions,everybody else would have ripped Fury,you know that as well as I do !

 

We disagree but that’s also ok. I think there are those who will be adamant but I’m saying a decent number will hold similar views to mine. It doesn’t matter anyway.

 

Usyk-Wilder makes sense:

- Wilder poses little threat but there will always be a sense of "what if?" in the marketing

- It's a good payday and a high profile fight in the United States: Champ Usyk's last dance vs America's fallen HW king

- Wilder is one of the biggest boxers of the era, a probable future HoF (like Fury and AJ) and America's No.1 HW this century thus far, on a win streak for the first time since 2020

- Wilder will be 41 but Usyk will be 40-odd, which makes the fight more legitimate

- Wilder would be Usyk's 7th unique HW opponent post-Bellew

- If Usyk stops Wilder, he will have done something that only Zhang accomplished in Wilder's previous five fights and 5+ years

 

Wilder is a shadow of his former self, so even the minimal puncher’s chance he once had isn’t there anymore. This fight is a sham.

 

Not a bad final fight for Usyk. Puts an exclam on the era for him.

Wilder is about top 10 with his win over Chisora. He looked decent for where he is now.

 

Usyk must fight Wilder twice.
Otherwise it doesn't count.

 

It makes sense to scam the public and pad Usyk's resume you mean. The fact Wilder is shot to pieces invalidates everything you said.

 

Tyson was shot when prime Lewis beat him. Usyk and Wilder are both way past it, so it isn't that bad now. If Usyk stops him it's a good win, Wilder is still tough.

 

Comparing Wilder to Tyson? lol. There was a lot of demand for that fight even though Tyson was done. Wilder can barely throw a punch. Usyk is not way past it, this will be a waste of time and a scam. Nobody wants it other than deluded fan boys.
