Boots Ennis vs prime Tim Tszyu and Jermell Charlo

I know the assistant coach, Eric that was in the corner, he told me after the fight that they wanted to stop it but Tim wanted to continue because he still thought he could win. Idk if he made that up to save face or not but that’s what he told me.I used to train at Eric’s gym, Tim used to do his training camps there. Tim and his team was always very nice to everyone.

 

Tim's old team would have been sacked way earlier than they were if they had stopped that fight. Tim wanted to keep fighting so they did. The fact that he ultimately lost his belt isn't the big deal most claim it is. No-one marked him down for losing that fight.

It was also the first fight of a new television deal. The show had to go on. The fact that it did is one of the reasons why Tim keeps getting opportunities to come back.

 

The Phoenix always rises again.

 

Tszyu loses but charlo beats him. Jermell is just as athletic as him but more defensively responsible.

 

Igor said he didn't know the rules because it's never happened to them before. After the fight Tim said no comment when asked about the corners actions or lack of. I think I'll go with what they said.

 

And I think they ran out of adrenaline to stem the bleeding.

 

Ennis beats down both. They were both crap.

 

Charla was good. But he ran from Tinlm like a pocket thief in the night.

 

I’m just telling you what Eric told me. I never asked Igor or Tim about it, I didn’t know them that well.
