Just when I thought the dazn commentary couldn't get worse....

I suppose he can't be as bad as Tim Bradley at least. Hopefully. Surely.

 

Yes, I do want my commentators do be charismatic on the mic. I don't want to listen to someone who sounds like they just woke up.

 

I think he is simply going to be boring, but in a good way. Crawford isn't a talkative person, so he will most likely say something when he has something to say, instead of giggling like a girl or filling dead air with a podcast.

 

I like Crawford and he is a guy who thinks before he speaks. But his speech might be too slow for TV. Who knows. I could be wrong.

 

I mean, his analysis would certainly be spot on. Can he deliver it quick enough? Don't know. We'll see.

I wouldn't mind matter of fact analysis from a great champion who knows wtf he's talking about. He doesn't have to be personally exciting to add value.

 

If he speaks clearly, there aren't many smarter people in boxing. He tends to mumble a bit like a lot of athletes who don't love the camera in their face.

 

IDK, his slow Oklahoma talking style doesn't exactly match sports commentary. We'll see.
