Could Marvin Hagler clear Murderers Row undefeated

I think that it would be tough for anybody to clear this group undefeated. The Marvelous one could certainly beat them all and would probably beat them all more than they would beat him, but if he were to fight them consecutively, I can definitely see a loss or two along the way. Burley, of course, would be very tough to beat.

 

No he wouldn't 2-3 losses at a minimum, Marvin was no genius in there.

 

No! And nor would Monzon,Robinson,or Greb! imo.

 

Probably not. He’d likely pick up wins and he’d pick up losses if he fought them all in his career.

 

I think Marshall & Chase might be the hardest though, who knows. Williams might outpoint him, but he wouldn't likely slow Hagler down too much, again hard to say, But Marshall may be the best of the bunch.

 

Lloyd Marshall no. Marshall's a LHW champion so he's kinda not really in the group though. He gets lumped in with them but when I think of Murderers Row I think MW's. Not a guy who beat Tommy Farr and Curtis Sheppard.

While Hagler would have an outside shot of running the table it's like winning a bunch of coin tosses. It can happen but it probably won't.

 

There is no way, especially if he was fighting them like they fought one another- fighting every week or 10 days.

 

Absolutely no chance. No man or near equal size can do it. It's impossible. The styles are too varied and the ability is too high.
