How bad or premature was the stoppage? I thought that was just deplorable. Mason was on his way to victory but this just spoiled it IMO.

    Far from the worst stoppage.

Bell was in survival mode from Rd 9. The referee had the best view to assess AB condition throughout. AB was dropped twice in rapid succession in Rd 12.

Stoppage did seem premature - I think we all prefer to see AB demonstrate he could continue but it was not terrible call per the book.

Bell was also behind and ready to fall so it likely wouldn't have effected the outcome

It looked like Bell was pushed down, so not only was it a terrible stoppage, it may have not been a legit knockdown.

In nearly all the fights on the card last night, there was some questionable refereeing and dishonest scorecards.

But the crooked officiating favouring the promoter’s fighters is what I’ve come to expect in the US, UK and Germany.

It was a knock down from a hard left hook. Bell fell forward. I can see your point, I also agree about some of the refereeing and scoring.

It was an absolutely horrible stoppage. Mason threw two punches during the sequence and didn't connect with either of them. While the stoppage almost certainly did not change who would have won the fight, the referee really screwed that one up. I am not a guy who believes there was anything nefarious going on. It was just a bad mistake by the ref.

Not justified by any stretch, but Bell was so negative; he was clearly looking for a way out. His body language was not that of somebody who wanted to get up and go out on his shield. Horrible fighter to watch and walked right into the early stoppage.

Bell barely protested, he was done. If anything he looked relieved. While I would’ve liked if he’d been given the chance to finish the fight and go out on his shield, we see worse on a monthly basis.

Fight like a *****, get stopped like one! He'd mentally checked out after the 6th round, was making no effort to win rounds, doing nothing but spoiling and holding. He'd already been dropped twice in that round, and there was still 2 minutes and 15 seconds left, and Mason was relentless. Bell had no chance in winning a decision at that point, was a punching bag and he probably saved him from serious damage.

Absolutely horrible., and utterly unjustified. Bell should have been allowed to continue, but since he'd won a few rounds they weren't taking any chances

The crowd reminded me of the Andre Ward/Allan Greene fight at the old place where the Warriors played.

Quiet but wanted to get into it but can't because that style of boxing isn't pleasing to the eye..

The first fight was good. That Mexican from Spain put on a helluva fight. His opponent should be embarrassed that he got the win.

You can tell with Top Rank that if you sign with them, they will gift you the decision

The second fight, Guerrero vs the not so good black fighter..it was aight.

The Shu Shu Carrington match. The last time I saw a dude get rabbit punched at 126 was when Nonito got KO'd by Nicolas Walters.

The finale..was an okay fight. I was happy to see this on TNT.

. I give it a B- Very happy to see this on July 4th.

Mason literally had his whole body on him and pushed him down. He did not even get a count , awful stoppage.

It was the same ref who saved Belly from a KO defeat by Usyk after the later had sent an out on his feet Belly on a tour of the ropes on spaghetti legs wobbling from one side of the ring to the other like a giant weeble wobble.

Bad stoppage. Not as bad as Rico’s, but bad.
