I never said that Rico would just charge in head down and face first or that he wouldn’t have a game plan, only that he’d come to fight and not to run around trying to survive like Jerry ‘Jake Paul’ Lewis did I respect your opinion but I don’t agree so only time will tell
Fair play mate, it's the joys of boxing in that anything can happen. I've certainly eaten my fair share of humble pie over the years lol
Joshua is a vastly stronger, bigger, heavier, more experienced boxer who fought in the olympics. He can even take the few punches that come back without any concern for them. Even if his jab wasn't better than that of jake paul which is not the case at all - even then it shouldn't be a problem to do that. He even has the reach advantage. He even punches down. When you spar with someone smaller with less reach, everything gets easier because you are almost never in the danger zone if you don't want it or the opponent isn't an especially good counterpuncher. That goes for similar levels. But jake Paul would be 3 levels lower even if he had the same natural size and weight. If i jab against a smaller opponent who is on a lower level than me i really should not have a problem to adjust everything i want. At least I think so.
I'm not looking to defend Fury here but he steamrolled Wallin after the bad cut. Yes he could have lost to him because of that, but that seemed more like a freak incident.Wallin is not a puncher. As for your question, maybe Ricos fights completely differently against AJ. I will never predict his fights again.
Fury was going to fight Usyk. he is not getting dirty against a freak like Ngannou for a match where literally nothing was on the line.
he dominated the rest of the match. he's not a puncher so you can't compare them based on stoppages. If he dominates in his own style than that is the equivalent of joshua stopping the guy.
okey I remember him dominating every minute of the fight after the cut by clinch fighting. but it's possible something happened towards the end that I don't remember. outside of a few competitive warm up rounds, he ran over him. it was only exciting because people wondered if they would stop the fight.
