Doodles going stupid for Ennis. Wait a few fights & let's see him earn it. With all the names available at Light Middle, that means fighting a few of them. Not defending against anonymous nobodies to protect an 'O'.

Boots by KO, styles make fights and he's on better steroids than Spence ever was. Boots is a specimen of an athlete

No way! Ennis is the better boxer, more athletic, and he is just as good at fighting on the inside. Plus he's bigger. I think Ennis stops him in the 10th

Ennis. I always thought Spence was good, but I was never totally sold on him. I think Boots would do Spence worse than Crawford did.

Spence is being undersold here. He went to the UK and stopped Brook in his backyard; that alone puts him ahead of Boots for me. Ennis has beaten nobody of that calibre.

To be fair Brook was damaged goods when Spence got to him.

After GGG got done breaking his face, Brook had to undergo surgery in Sheffield for the fractured right eye socket. Brook then had to recover, come back down in weight and have a training camp all within eight months when he should have taken a year off.

None of this was Spence's fault, but I always wondered the "what if" of Brook being a hundred percent.

Yeah it definitely wasn't a 100% version of Brook, but I think that was offset by him fighting in front of a huge home crowd, Spence managed to battle through that. Once their careers are said and done Ennis could easily be ahead of Spence, but I don't really see how beating Xayas, and getting wobbled pretty badly by him, ranks alongside some of Spence's best wins like Brook or Porter, at least not at the moment.

Boots is a horrible style for Spence to be honest, but Ennis is just as hittable as Spence is, but Spence has proven his mettle against much bigger punchers and better opposition.

I think Spence’s jab would give Boots a lot of problems. But at the same time, I could see Boots speed catching Spence in exchanges and potentially hurting him. One thing we don’t know is how well Boots can take body shots. Spence in his prime was a body snatcher. I lean towards Spence mainly because I still think there’s information about Boots that we don’t know. Another thing is how good is Boots chin? At welterweight he was beating guys way bigger than him and as soon as he fights someone his size, he gets hurt. Spence IMO had more power than Zayas.

The Brook had just been broken by GGG and had to come back down two weight classes. Ennis marks Spence competition with ease

This version of Zayas is better than the versions of Brook and Porter that Spence faced
