What is Hrgovics path to victory against Itauma?

This is Zhang who has zero cards wins against top-200 ranked fighters... Including a draw against Jerry f'in Forrest.

The fact Hrgo just barely scraped past someone who is famous for ONLY being able to win by KO says plenty about how special Hrgovic isn't on cards

 

Early rounds he needs to eat punches like candy and don't get blooded up. There is always a chance ref jumps in early. If this goes past 6 rounds he has a shot.

 

I think Itauma is a problem for anyone and kinda tricky lose-lose situation if you don't knock him out cold (assuming he has an average to above average stamina). The guy is front foot aggressive counterpuncher. Play it safe against him and he will bomb you with fast aggressive combos cutting the ring fast. Play it aggressively and he will brutally counter you and probably knock you out cold.

 

that was a huge fight that he should have lost. he doesn't deserve to be in the in this big spot.

 

add to that zhang was 39 years old.
