What do you believe is the ideal size for a HW boxer?

I think it depends on their other attributes. I don't think there's a universal ideal size.

 

6'4 or 6'5. 215 pounds.

 

Maybe like 6'4-6'5 with a real long reach. Around 230lbs

 

Prime George Foreman sized HW blends it all.

 

Taishan Dong's size.

With some athleticism, skills and power, of course.

If SNV had some skills and power, I don't think anyone can beat him.

 

I agree on the lightness part because when he retired he ballooned up to 300lbs+ during his late 30s so that tells you how naturally big he was; huge hands, head size, wrists etc.

Even though he was the same "size" as Ali you could tell he was naturally a much bigger man.

If he was around today he would make Joshua look small, even though Joshua is teller; AJ has the slender shoulders, smaller head, hands etc

Foreman was a genetic masterpiece.

Lennox Lewis deserves a shout too even though I think he bulked up to get that size whereas Foreman didn't need to.....

Or maybe it's just rose tinted glasses from me.
