Hes a solid domestic talent who, like Dave Allen, might one day scratch the world level. He should do alright in Zuffa, unless Zuffa starts sighing a lot of fringe world class talent.
IMO, Zuffa will use Fisher in Britain the way the UFC uses Tai Tuivasa in Australia.

Misfits for Fisher. He's proven to sell UK tickets and PPV buys and he'd beat the holy hell out of the clowns they have on there.

Who is he going to fight in Zuffa? Ajagba? Please no, Ajagba would put him in the hospital. So would any of the Zuffa cruisers for that matter.

Fisher will be the champion, he learned from his defeat and improved drastically, it's no shame to lose to an elite fighter like Allen...

Don´t think I made that argument. I said he might be like Dave Allen, who scratched the world scene and failed at it. Well, Allen failed several times actually. But for a moment it looked like he might reach it, when he beat Browne and was then scheduled to fight Price. He was on path to becoming a fringe contender, maybe in the top 20, but he ultimately failed. Price humiliated him.

Will never understand how he couldn’t beat Price. Total failure there.

    Low-level fighters on Sky TV

    That's exactly his purpose

Being eyes to the Zuffa name and brand in the UK

Because Price despite his many flaws was a decent boxer

Allen skill wise was never close to Prices level

Price was an Olympic medalist who hit like a mule and had fundamentals light-years ahead of Allen's. Dave is a likable and marketable guy, but ability-wise he isn't in the same stratosphere as Price. For all of Price's flaws, he was always going to school Allen.

Allen couldn’t dream of installing a thermostatic mixing valve on a 15mm copper line.

Price was on the slide and Allen just had to find him, but he just COULDN’T, not once.

I felt Price had been chinned enough to get chinned by Allen

Got hosed on that one lol

Yeah Price was definitely shaky in the chin department, it was his kryptonite, Allen had a great ability to sell himself much higher than his actual skill ceiling, though, he's a punchbag as soon as he gets above English level. In the build up I remember Price actually being focussed and quite angry at the idea that Allen was somehow a more skilled, seasoned fighter so I picked Price to put on a show, I thought he was going to stop him earlier than he did to be fair.
