Correct, if he had a nickname at all, it was " The Onion Farmer " , Fogger while on the subject, lots of posters have " Shotgun " as a nickname for Monzon, I personally don't recognise this ? there was a light middleweight named Oscar Alvarado , that carried that moniker, also Olivares and " El Paus " again not in my recollection, is my memory starting to fade... Hi Mike. I don’t ever remember Monzon being called Shotgun during the time he was fighting. You mention Oscar Albarado, he happens to be on the list that I made for this thread. I don’t remember Oscar being called just Shotgun. I always remember it in connection with where he came from in Texas, he was the Uvalde Shotgun. Although that could just be what Jimmy Lennon Sr. called him when he was announcing him at the Olympic Auditorium.
Just jumping in here Fogger, I too only remember Albarado known as 'Shotgun'. Not only from Jimmy Lennon but also all the mags at that time. I knew he was from Uvalde but I never heard that in connection with his monicker.

Absolutely not! At the very least, I am going to keep this open until the Top 100 video is published. I'll probably keep it open for at least a few weeks after that where I hope to turn this one around fairly quickly and move onto a new survey. On that note, QUICK UPDATE: The Top 100 is coming along very nicely. In theory, I may have a rough draft ready as early as tomorrow. However, this will wind up being the longest video I've ever produced and edited: Longer than anything on Rummy's Corner, longer than anything I did in the wedding industry, and even longer than my no-budget independent horror movie. Beyond that, there are a lot of details, both spoken and written, so I have my work cut out for me. Final fact-checking will be a process, and I will not feel comfortable releasing this until I've done everything in my power to ensure my facts are as bulletproof as can be - even though things have already been triple and quaduple-checked to this point. I am extremely happy with this project - this Top 100 is truly predicated on input from Classic posters here who participated in any of the 13 decade surveys, and I think it produces a damn fan list! I am hoping the Top 100 will be live at the very end of this month, or at worst, some time during the first 10 days of August.
