I want Knyba to knock out that greedy fat lazy sack.

Knyba is an arm puncher who just throws the same one-two over and over again. He was tired and Kabayel had him all figured out by round 2.

Ruiz has a lot of problems, but he's no arm puncher. He can punch. You have to throw something back with authority to keep Ruiz off you.

Ruiz’s AJ win really flatters his career. When you zoom out, it’s not pretty reading.

Since going 1-1 with Joshua, he’s got a decision over old Arreola, went life and death with Luis Ortiz (I had Ortiz close), and life and death with Jarrell Miller (I had Miller competitive but clear).

Knyba can absolutely take advantage of Ruiz’s tendency to fight in small bursts. And Ruiz is so inactive fighting only once every two years, it’s impossible to tell his condition. Knyba is very much a live opponent here.

Part of that Knyba purse is going to Meyna as a step aside money, because they've already signed the contract.

    Very interesting match up

After such a long lay off healing that awful hand injury I expected worse

Looking forward to this one. Ruiz does have a decent pop and good hand speed.

Hopefully he stays a bit more active because I do enjoy watching him fight. I think Ruiz wins a decision here.

Sure - but then Knyba has never been relevant, isn't very good and Ruiz should win this unless he's thoroughly shot... There's levels to this, and Knyba has never shown anything remotely close to what Ruiz has.

Oh so if he goes in there and beats him that just means Ruiz is shot, Knyba gets no credit

Ruiz struggled with a 40 year old inactive Chris Arreola lololol

I agree with a lot of posters that Knyba can win an upset. However, Knyba hasn't gone past 8 rounds, let alone 12. Ruiz isn't the most conditioned fighter, but he has shown an ability to fight 12 rounds. So that's why I take Ruiz by decision in a competitive fight.

I don't think Ruiz can punch. He didn't stop:

    38 year old Liakhovich
    38 year old Kevin Johnson
    40 year old Arreola
    43+ year old Ortiz

Granted, he destroyed 29 year old AJ. But that says more about AJ than it does about Ruiz.

Prime Kabayel is not end of the road Ruiz. The Pole can win this.

If Ruiz has anything left he wins this.

Ruiz is both lazy and shot. Unlike Knyba who is a weak gatekeeper at best if im being generous.

I’d guess Knyba’s style suits Ruiz, but you don’t know what to get from such shot and lazy fighters.

A weak journeyman is being generous... He's not even international level at all.
