Yallyev looked the best I’ve seen him. Sharp, strong and powerful. I genuinely thought Khalidov would steamroll him. Looking forward to seeing him in action again.

Joyce looked a lot better than he did in his previous 2. Still needs to pack it in.
Suslenkov is exactly what it says on the tin. So he’ll be in more fun fights.

It is such a stupid fight and card. Especially that it won’t be televised apparently.

Yes. I scored it as a clear win for Yallyev - but he was never going to get a decision in France over Yoka, who was in survival mode for much of the fight.

 

Gurgen Hovhannisyan will face Uila Mau'u on the Roach-Zepeda card.

 

I would sooner see him face a top 100 heavyweight, but it's good that he's remaining active.

 

Yeh he's being active ish and this isn't an easy fight. But he's also started having long intervals between his fights in recent years.

I liked him early on a lot. But I agree ... he needs a name or two on his cv ... to build some kind of profile with more casual fans.

 

This will be an easy fight for Hovhannisyan.

 

You're probably right ... just wary of heavy set Pacific fighters after the Mailata fight.

 

Mailata's a decent fighter, Mau'u is very basic.
