Could Hatton have beaten Locche? Or does England lose again to Argentina today?

Locche sees that left hook coming a mile away and is able to outbox Hatton all night.

this is a great match up for an easy to see Era's & past fighters superiority over modern more recent Era's.

a No Chance loss for the latter.

Pretty much as I see this fight.

Hatton is good but too raw and predictable to be a real menace to the defensive master.

    Hatton can't touch Nico.

Locche rightfully favored but I do think Ricky is a very live dog because of his pressure and activity. Hatton was not a guy that was beaten by boxers and yes, I concede he never faced a boxer of Locche's quality. When Hatton loss, it was because of getting smoked by a counterpunch. Like most swarmers, counterpunching and sluggers were his biggest threat. I wouldn't bet on it, but Hatton outworking Locche is not out of the question. His prime was short lile most swarmers but he was a special fighter and a headache for anyone at 140. RIP Ricky.

I dont think Locche "beats" Hatton as much as simply frustate him, just like Leonard frustated Duran and Hagler.

Locche is not stopping Hatton; but wins an UD by virtue of being the one scoring punches, even if those carry little damage, while Hatton spends the whole fight chasing a ghost.
