History will say otherwise. Kabayel didn’t draw with Fury and defend a title into double digits.

I like Kabayel and I think people are getting a little ahead of themselves. He's 34, fights once a year, looked terrible in his last, has beaten four fringe contenders (just look at their places on this list, or lack thereof), and is now talking about fighting Rico or WladKlit.

The guy has a title and 2-3 years to make something of a legacy. Let's see where he goes from here.

I have nothing against him, but he’s far off the legacies or guys like Wilder and Joshua. He still has to catch Dubois.

Kabayel has beaten better opponents without a title. We might as well count every fight post Chisora as a title defense as they are of similar caliber to the guys Wilder fought

Fury has so many bad performances that's not really a big selling point for Wilder

He may well be a fan, but I am not seeing it from your side at the moment

A fight tgat would have been fight 30 something for Wilder which never took place and a fighter Joshua did beat
    ,
Which was when Fury hadn't beaten a top 10 HW for something like 4 years
Every fight is a risk, but I think the Fury 2 fight was a bigger risk as in this fight Wilder had everything to gain and little to lose
You could make this argument for anyone taking a title shot
Hot streak of Massey, Opelu, Kean?
Joshua had already beaten Parker when he was undefeated and on a hotter streak as an undefeated world champion
You make a point of giving the ages of some of Joshua's opponents and don't mention Zhang was I think 41 and coming off a loss.
Chisora has always been game but I don't see how he is now considered a big risk when he had lost several of his last 10 fights and Joshua has beaten several fighters that have beaten Chisora
It doesn't, but that was something like Wilders 40th fight and it was when it was being thought of him stepping up

Not a comparison at all. You are forgetting Joshua was taking this fight with less than 20 fights.
It is a bit unfair to say Wlad was inactive as he was in training to face Fury and Fury twice pulled out. He wasn't inactive, he was in full training
Wladimir was also the #1 rated HW at that time
who was more proven and a similar age to the boogeyman you note

Finishing stronger is normally based off wins and I don't think beating a faded 40 plus Chisora is overall a great deal stronger

As you are basing it just on opponents rather than wins etc, you could argue Joshua faced a hotter streak Dubois and I think that would be hard to disagree with
Fans can go back to 2018 because tge thread is based from end of Wladimir era to now and I think winning 2 unifications, beating 3 reigning world champions possibly is greater

    Sorry
    Was a bit rushed

I appreciate it, but do you have six more for 15? I can't add a partial list. Would appreciate your vote.

Thanks Wizbit 1013! Couple of new names. I was wondering when Miller and Bakole would get a vote.

I should have also asked based on this response but with how you have rated the fighters and what you have written, how do you have Parker below Wilder?
You rate Wilder for facing Zhang and Chisora but Parker beat Chisora before Wilder and beat Zhang just before Zhang Beat Wilder
What was your reason for putting Wilder above Parker?

Thanks. I just realized that when I created the thread I said 10-15, but I started doing the hard count with points assigned and it just became a 15 thing.
