Conor has only stopped a few fighters with one punch, he's better at knocking out smaller guys, his power was overrated.
He is 35 after all so weight cutting could be an issue, but after the RDR fight and how much he struggled in the clinch I really don't like him against LHW-sized guys.
Same, only I think it could have been due to the weight cut. Early on, Whittaker looked sharp and a step ahead of RDR, but then he faded rather quickly. I just cant figure out for certain if it was due to RDR´s body work, or the weight cut. I hope I am right about the weight cut, because otherwise its going to be brutal for Whittaker at 205. RDR made it look at times like Whittaker was small for Middleweight, as if he was being bullied by a much bigger and stronger man.
Connor hasn't fought in 5 years, was intermittent before that and had an awful leg break. I think he's absolutely finished at top level and I expect him to lose definitively.
McMillen fights like the 3rd Diaz brother, I love this kid. I imagine this loss kicks Cannoneir out of the top 10. He had a good run, but at his age he is no longer able to hang with the top guys, but damn doe he look good for a 42 year old.
Cannonier cant hang with them in 3 rounders. He gets beaten up and outworked before fighting into things in 3rd round onward all the time. Good chance that Duncan would have drowned had it been a 5 rounder. Looked like the pace was starting to get to him a bit.
