Next week's fights for Fury and Joshua Has Fury been very clever in that it may be hard to get footage of Fury's warm up fight before potentially facing Joshua next. Joshua may not be able to get great footage to prepare based on Fury's last fight before they meet, whereas Fury will be able to closely watch Joshua's warm up fight ?? I am not convinced that Fury/Joshua happens this year Fury I think has had a few times where he has postponed etc. Often before his bigger fights when he is the A side (I don't feel either is above the other here at this point) Klitschko 2 fight was delayed I think on a few occasions and then Fury decided he wasn't fighting The immediate Wilder rematch didn't happen and Fury fought a couple of tune ups Wilder 3, I think there were some delays but could be wrong Usyk, he needed a tune up and fought Chisora, then decided against Usyk and fought Ngannou, then the date was changed, then there was another delay as I recall So not convinced it will happen this year I think alot could also depend on how Joshua looks ie the time i felt Fury was serious in offering Joshua the fight was when Joshua was coming straight off his 2nd defeat to Usyk, and I seem to recall Fury saying something along the lines of you should be fighting fit and ok after that sparring session with Usyk (which was a tough fight) and giving a short deadline to sign for the fight. If Joshua doesn't look good, gets wobbled and struggles through a decision, I think then that there may be more chance the fight happens this year (still not convinced), but feel that if Joshua looks powerful and destructive that it may be delayed a bit more. That is only a thought Personally I would favour Fury and am a far bigger supporter of Fury than Joshua. Never been a fan of Joshua but do like to remain balanced and often don't get alot of the criticism as I feel he has been great for British boxing and looked to be involved in alot of big fights I would pick Fury, I would favour Fury but I am not entirely convinced this fight happens this year and providing neither lose the warm up, would think that if it doesn't happen this year would more likely be due to Fury, not that I think anyone would blame him (or Joshua) if he got a better offer ie like world title chance Kabayel is now WBC champion, but I don't think that would happen this year with Fury That is all just a feeling and not a fact

I dont think it matters, Fury vs Mahmudov was on TV, Fury has been a pro for several decades and we know what he is all about. I don't see him suddenly having a brand new strategy Also, I'm sure someone in Joshua's camp is going there to watch/film it from the crowd
Fury's is a pure run-out, and that is ok, although I wish he would have gotten someone who is a little more aesthetically pleasing. Wach is a known commodity, and everyone knows he is a fall guy. I am sure Fury could have found a sparring partner who doesn't leave the bad taste in the mouth. But it is what it is. Joshua has a little more on the line. He arguably has not beaten a real opponent in three years. He should win, but it has just a little more immediacy.

Fury vs AJ never happens. They are using each others names, to justify them smashing up bums in warm ups. Men who have been boxing all their lives and are now in their late 30s don’t need “warm up” fights. The whole concept is ridiculous to milk the casuals. Both guys are all washed up and now on a retirement package programme.
Fury's isn't even a fight. It's a exhibition being marketed as one. Expect a dull, polite UD against a bloke who's a pensioner. I dont think there is anything clever about it other than it being a hook into his TV show which will generate him some more $$.. Not expecting anything from Prenga who looks very rigid he has some stoppages to his name so if he comes out swinging who knows but it should be a routine 3 rounds stoppage for AJ. I dont think either has long left at the top level, if it doesn't happen now it probably never does....there's a lot of money on the table..one tune up too many and both men loose millions if if it goes wrong, if you factor in rematches if it's close or conversional between TF and AJ it's 10s of millions plus the winner will be talked about as being the best in the world again (even if they aren't)
I feel like a sucker for paying for the "ultimate" package. The PPV´s are ridiculous: Joshua vs Prenga, Tszyu vs Spence, Rolly vs Teofimo, Itauma vs Hrgovic, Zayas vs Boots, Tommy Fury vs a bodybuilder. I get Canelo being on PPV, and the Mbilli fight is actually good. I think Wardley vs Dubois was also on PPV, and it made sense, but the recent lineup makes me feel like I got totally rinsed by the offer. I wont be paying for it again, they can go **** themselves.
That is exactly why I have not signed up for that plan. I knew it would be marked up mediocrity. I have not bought any of the fights and don't plan on buying the others. I waited whatever period it was for DAZN to show the fight for free and didn't care. Dubois vs Wardley was the only one I really thought about buying and despite the wait and knowing the result while watching it, I still enjoyed the fight. I miss early 2000's HBO when a big name would fight a mega fight on PPV and then be on regular HBO when they fought a normal not elite fighter. Now someone gets on PPV once and then its PPV forever even if they fight a bum
Yes, you pay a premium for not having to purchase the individual PPV´s. My point was that the quality of those PPV´s has been ridiculously low, while the package was sold as if the PPV´s were going to be good fights/cards. Instead of stacked Riyadh season cards I am getting influencer boxing.
Why do you feel Prenga is a bad tune up? Sure he has no big names on his resume but has won his last 16 fights inside the distance, Never been stopped, All his wins have been inside the distance
