Switched it off once they handed the mic to Spencer and he started the schtick about the big offers Tyson turned down just so he could do it for the kids and Father Ray Foundation, and bring the show to Thailand.

He could have just boxed elsewhere and donated the ****ing purse.

Can’t wait to see how they spin it on Netflix. Fury will come out looking like Gandhi, and I’ve just noticed his six-year-old kid has landed a deal with Superdrug. The family brand never sleeps, Beckham blueprint and all that.

Edit Kid is eight not six.

Yeah notice how he’s donating the purse from a fight against a 46 year old in front of 1000 people in Thailand rather than the purse from fighting Makmudhov in front of 60k

Exactly, and to the best of my knowledge it’s only the ticket sales being donated.

Again, there’ll be no mention of how many millions Netflix are paying him per season while they film the whole Gandhi arc in the background, probably with Big John walking around in an orange monk outfit just to add a bit of ambience.

Fury is 7/2 to win by decision. Could Wach go the distance?

Is it an 8 or 10 rounder?

Given tickets were 10,000-15,000 baht, some VIPs at 20,000, and it's sold out, the charities should be expecting a very healthy cheque (circa £500k, less whatever they rinse for expenses).

Word of mouth off Fury's social media should bring a huge influx too.

Though it'll be dwarfed by his last purse, and nothing next to what a Joshua fight pays. Effectively a paid ad for clout.
