How on earth can anyone not notice that Dubois completely obliterated Joshua?

He did not want any of that smoke again hence the rematch clause torn up.

A head to head loss does not prevent a fighter from being greater on the balance. I would say Wlad Klitsckho is ahead of Ross Purity, for example. Also, it is a fair interpretation since Joshua was past his best.

If you feel that there is an injustice being done, please help to recify by submitting your own top 15 with Dubois ahead of AJ. I will tally them in.

Wilder fought in 13 heavyweight title fights ... and only lost two. If he fights Usyk next, he'll have competed in 14.

He's currently tied at #9 all-time in most wins in heavyweight title fights. All-time!!!

Ruiz is the biggest waste of talent of this generation. Joyce might have done more if he turned pro earlier. Wardley may still have some fun fights.

 

God I wish we got to see Fury Usyk 3x but when they were more fresh. That first bout should have been their last bout of a trilogy.

Other people's opinions can be frustrating, but Wilder is currently bit ahead of Parker at #5, which is I think what he is in contention for, so no harm done.

Wilder took on far more later career risk. Joshua tried to mitigate risk his entire career and it still blew up in his face (PRENGA)

 

Joshua is a 24/7 athlete. In 2017 he had the boxing world at his feet, while Fury was a retired depressed 30 stone coke addict.

Yet 10 years later, the older, less disciplined man in Fury will somehow have managed not just to come back to boxing and have major success, stealing the superfight from Joshua and winning an ATG trilogy, but to outlast Joshua, and be favoured to beat him up when they face off in 2027.

It's pretty crazy. Very few would have thought it possible a decade prior.

 

It's almost as if, and I may be shouted down for saying this, but, it's almost like, Joshua doesn't have the boxing skill his fans wish he did. I keep hearing about boxing skill as he eats flush bombs from low rank fighters. Perhaps I'm not fully considering his mythical prime in 2018.
