Anthony Joshuas career is a disappointment

I don't think disappointment is the right word. Overhyped, yeah. He made good money and was/is a draw.

I just never thought he was the best in the division and he looked beatable even during some of his wins.

 

I wouldnt have Hrgovic no, i have Hrgovic at 15th best heavyweight post Klitschko.

 

I do agree with alot of what you wrote in that I have many fighters rated above Wilder but I'm surprised how low you have Hrgovic (i wouldn't put Hrgovic above Wilder) when you have 2 fighters he has wins over rated above

 

You can stay high in ratings sometimes by not facing as many top contenders and people around them losing rather than who they have beaten.
It is fair that many wouldn't make 10 defences but it is also dependent on who they are facing.
Consider Fury beat Wilder but only managed 2 defences and a fighter Joshua beat clearly beat Wilder
A title is great but it is who you beat that counts and I agree that Whyte beat overall a higher level of opponent than Wilder

 

Losing to the goat doesn’t warrant criticism. Ali, Tyson could have been in the ring that night and would have lost against Usyk. Joshua deserved a ton of credit for that effort.

I thought Joshua did well in the Usyk rematch
I felt Usyk won, but Joshua was very competitive throughout and I felt won some of the earlier rounds
Usyk looked uncomfortable in the last round
Great performance by both
I can't remember scoring but felt it was something like a 116/112 type fight
I will give it another look sometime, but it was possibly points wise Usyks closest HW fight

 

Finkel had Fury winning and he isn't a fan. Boxrec have it for Fury. McDermott did better than expected but he lost.

 

You can poo poo Wilder's 10 defences and his 9 years in the Ring top 4 but they are facts regardless, hence Wilder is a HoF fighter in the era and Parker is not. How did Whyte do when he fought Fury? Even on his worst night of the three Wilder was better. Whyte doesn't get a Fury draw or two wins vs Ortiz, and after he is shot to bits doesn't get a win over Chisora either.

If an underdog does better than expected but loses against an unpopular favourite in the underdog's hometown, it's normal for many to be angry. But it's not a good barometer imo.

 

Personally I wasn't angry as I had very little investment in either fighter

Just saw one of the worst decisions I'd seen in a long time
