    Think I might kick myself for not betting on Tim tonight.

    I dont know much about Tim, but I find it hard to believe that Spence will be in good enough form to outclass him. And if hes not going to outclass him, it means motivation, sharpness, chin, will become major factors at some point. From what Ive seen from Spence I kinda have my doubts on how deep he will be willing to dig, how well his chin will hold up under sustained offense, and how sharp his reflexes will be.

    I will actually be somewhat surprised if he pulls this off, but again my view here is pretty incomplete as I haven't seen Tim's recent performances, Im just going off of what I expect of Spence and the seemingly reasonable assumption that Tim has more fire here, more desire, and potentially more left in him durability wise.


    Felt like I should have put a small amount on him. Lets see if Im happy I didnt or kicking myself for not doing so.

    If Spence has ANYTHING left he will TKO Tim on cuts if not ko him. I know the Aussies in here will jump on me as always for even slightly criticizing an Australian boxer but Tim is levels below Spence in boxing skills. But this is what we want to see, right? Does Spence have anything left in the tank.

    I've thought Tim should be the favorite since it was announced. I have no idea how or why Spence, after like 3 years off, 2 divisions north of where he was, has the odds in his favor.

    I don't know, I'm a Spence fan but he was never a super technical boxer. Guy has great fundamentals but his entire style was built around making the most of his strength, engine, and size. Two of those won't be particularly relevant in this fight given that he's the one moving up, and 3 years off will not have helped his engine. I hope he can revive his career but at this point I'm not convinced that he'll be able to consistently outbox Tim, who has at least managed to stay active recently.
