I mean, obviously AJ's chin is pretty toast, but you do understand it wasn't the uppercut that hurt him, right? It was the giant, looping right hand Prenga threw right before that. Clipped AJ on the chin and had him ready to go over. The collar tie + piddly uppercut just finished getting AJ to the canvas.

 

I think you're thinking of the second KD, where Joshua gloves touch the canvas a bit after being sent falling into the ropes with a right hand. I'm mainly referring to the first KD though. the overhand doesn't seem to land, Prenga gets a hold of Joshua's head and lands what looks like a pretty light uppercut with no follow through and then Joshua goes down.

Plenty people saying Fury does not punch hard enough to take advantage of Joshua’s chin so the fight is still a 50/50 affair. Thing is no way could Joshua take the uppercut that stopped Whyte or the numerous uppercuts that Usyk took from Fury in there first fight. Joshua is predictable but does have decent power so it would be interesting to see how current Fury reacts when/if he gets hit. I honestly think Fury will just look to box Joshua and negate everything he does,probably stopping him mid to late fight .

 

If AJ is entering his Prime then Prenga must be Iron Mike Tyson

 

I think it’s the lack of intelligence AJ has in a boxing sense. You know this guy is gonna throw early so you apply caution and take him out once he’s spent his load.

Fury is navigating carefully for a couple of rounds vs Prenga then dominating.

AJ has a punchers chance vs Fury and I’ve always felt Fury’s style would suit him to an extent but the concern I have for AJ is what Fury will do to him in the build up. He will massively get in his head

 

If Fury has half a brain he will go right at Joshua rough him up and sit down on his punches and try to get him out of there in the first 5 rounds. Use the second Wilder fight gameplan. AJ won’t be able to handle that attack mentally or mandibly. AJ has no Chin. None.

 

Joshua's prime left him when Ruiz Jr. took his soul, he has never been the same and never will...

 

I have to disagree with you there a bit,for Fury to beat Joshua it has to be controlled and using the best of his own merits,meeting Joshua offensively early in a fight plays to Joshua’s merits imo.Joshua may well be seen as chinny by many however he still has power and he is still dangerous, it’s been a long time since Fury was chin checked so who knows now how good his recovery powers are and I honestly don’t think Fury would like to find out,for this reason I think Fury boxes at distance in his normal style then looks to try and stop Joshua mid to late fight and probably late imo. Hopefully we get to see the fight and how it plays out .

Using a controlled approach only gives AJ time to hang around and knocking Fury out later. Fury has significantly declined. AJ will freeze up like a robot both mentally and physically if Fury tries to bulldoze him.
