This has probably been done before. I believe the Hungarian Oak takes it.

The Hungarian Oak works behind the jab to win a decision or a late TKO on cuts.

I think Jerry edges him on points by staying a bit busier. Probably not a terribly exciting fight

Quarry was a better boxer and forced the issue more. At his best, not drugged, no bad back, training hard, he beats the best version of Bugner.

Yes, I agree with the thinking that it’s more likely that Jerry basically outworks Joe (similar to Quarry’s fight vs Lyle) but even with his relatively lower work rate I think Bugner gets some decent licks in along the way. I can’t see Jerry putting Bugner down let alone KO’ing/stopping him.

    Hi Guys.
Typically, this is a fight that Bugner could conceivably win, as with other fights of his career, but to do so he would have to produce the aggression he portrayed in the Dunn fight, but sadly he probably wouldnt, was there ever a more frustrating fighter than Bugner, the times I watched him and was shouting at the tele for him to do more work, show a bit of spite, after all , he had all the tools, but for whatever reason consistently failed to utilise them, had he done so, I am pretty sure he could have picked up a strap during the alphabet years.
    stay safe guys.
    Mike.
