Archie Moore Of the Marciano Fight V Dubois, &Kabayel?

The Old Mongoose of the Rocky fight versus the present versions of Dubois and Kabayel,how does he do?

 

Moore was practically a light heavyweight; I don't see him stopping Dubois or Kabayel...

 

But could he beat them?

 

Archie tended to get hit at HW. If either guy hit him like Rocky did the Ole Mongoose would be in orbit.

He had in my estimation a 20% chance of outboxing either one and surviving 12 rounds and winning a decision.

 

I kind of doubt it...

 

I’ve known you for years, McVey and always liked you. Still do. But is this an exercise designed to diminish Rocky’s opposition and hence Rocky himself ? If not then I apologize. But if it is please be honest. Thanks

 

Actually its an exercise to determine how good the Moore of the 50's was.ps I like you too.

 

He beat bigger and better so yes. Both fighters are terrible in comparison.

 

Dubois is 6ft 5 in 250lbs ,with a 78 in reach and has a near 96% ko ratio
Kabayel is 6ft 3in 240lbs with an 80 in reach, with a near 71% ko ratio
Both have ko'd modern day heavyweight giants.
Which heavies did Moore beat that were their size and better ?

 

Did Archie maintain his power at heavy? Hard to see him keeping Dubois and Kabayel wary to try and outwork and overpower him without it.

 

I think Moore has a great chance at stopping Chinamite Dubois. Kabayel probably beats him though.

 

I don't know, I can't see Archie beating either tbh.

 

I think Dubois has a great chance of koing Moore who was floored and ko'd by lesser punchers.

 

You could say the same about Dubois.

 

Fun fact Archie beat more men 200+ then Joe Louis did. 20-23 I believe
