MVP and Matchroom have created an alliance for Women's boxing.

I fear they are missing the point that the vast majority of people couldn't careless about women's boxing. Barring a couple fights the standard is woeful.

Once Eddie pushed Womens boxing so hard to pad cards with really cheap world title fights, he kind of made his own bed. Now he has to deal with it.

I would happily never watch another womens fight ever again.

Couldn't agree more. Its boring, no one is interested. Its just padding and it's an horrendous atmosphere killer. Hopefully this collaboration will mean that all womens fights are on their own cards so we can avoid them easily. Shame on ESPN and Sky for picking up the rights that nobody wanted so readily.

Not sure about this. Its got all the makings of two rival businesses getting together out of necessity ( they aren't working together in mens boxing and theres definitely money there ) and trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

By throwing more money at something people are speculating they've lost alot of money on?

If could be a case of MR letting MVP use talent under contract so they don't have to pay fighters for remaining contractual fights sure but I don't see it as a throw of the dice
That would imply they are bothering which they clearly aren't

MR ain't even that fussed about men fighting in the UK

    One things for certain
    They won't lose anything here

Was meaning less from a MR point of view but womens boxing in general.

Once KT has retired in a month or so the women's sport could easily end.

Bizarre comment mate. They've essentially cornered the market for women's boxing, and will be hoping to create another Ronda Rousey or Caitlin Clark from their roster. Having another major global promotion essentially acknowledge their insurmountable advantage says it all.

We are in a world where a moron Tiktokker can get Into the Groove by Madonna back in the charts with a low effort dancing video. The right promotion, especially in the US, will gain momentum.

You should be pleased that MVPs focus on women's boxing should mean fewer padded out cards with ten round snoozefests.

Either way, you'd like to think so mate. Still a good move for her to be honest.

If there was ever any more proof needed that Eddie and Skye are 'an item', this is it.

If he's got a billion-dollar business and can open all sorts of doors for her then I could see it, old smarmy men with money and connections usually end up with women way out of their league. A lot of the time, it can be about status, and everyone knows how full of himself Hearn is.
