No. He was a good fighter, but, not HOF worthy. Doesn't even have 30 wins, and no stellar prime scalps on his resume. The only reason he held the belt for so long was because the dude only fought like twice a year. Mostly against guys who were much smaller.

The 28 wins would have been a problem in an earlier era. Now we've got Usyk at 25 and Beterbiev at 21.

Spence got almost 50% of his wins against high level opponents. I'm struggling to find the word for what I'm trying to say here. You're all going to say "those weren't high level opponents". You know what I'm trying to say.

He will get votes, but I don't think he gets in. Does he deserve it? No, but worse fighters are in.

Spence is absolutely getting in and you’re not any more of a tough guy for voting against it. Imagine winning IBF, WBA, and WBC in separate fights at 147 and not making it.

Not sure, leaning towards not really HOF material.

Crawford definitely, impossible to argue otherwise, but do you think Tszyu makes the HOF? Even by the low standards it now has, I don't think he makes it; he's 0-3, including 2 brutal one-sided stoppage beatdowns against fighters of any serious caliber close to the top of 154/160.

    Borderline case

Unified titles beat plenty of very good fighters

He didnt beat the 2 best guys at his weight and the Pacquiao fight fell through

I dont really blame him for Thurman because Keith seemed to be the less interested party

Him losing to crawford wasn't bad, him getting totally annihilated in a not at all close fight really tarnished his legacy

It's obvious to me that Spence will be inducted into the IBHOF, Ray Mancini is in it, it's unthinkable that Errol Spence can't be in it.

No. His WW run was weak..

Brook was ruined by the triple G weight jump.

    Peterson was a career LWW.

    Garcia a LW.

Danny Garcia a fairly inactive LWW.

Porter little more than a higher level gatekeeper who he almost lost to.

Ugas a 36 year old unknown who got a bit of fame for beating a 50 year old Pac.

Nah. Most of his opponents were smaller or not in their prime. You can say there's no shame in losing to Crawford, but the problem is how he lost. He had no success at any point of the fight and pretty much got dominated and then stopped. But like people said, if guys like gatti and bradley get in, then spence will be in it too.
