Who looked worse this year (2026): Usyk, Fury, AJ, or Wilder

Wilder may be the least shot at the moment actually. Re-watch his fight against Chisora. Wilder's power is back after his shoulder surgery, he kept knocking Chisora across the ring or out of it, and his chin looked solid.

I'm genuinely interested to see him against Usyk at this point.

 

Usyk's management was K2 and Wlad was the cash cow. No point in sacrificing Wlad for Usyk, let Wlad's career end and Usyk moves up after that. I believe this was the logic.

 

No way should Usyk be on this list, he looked poor but will always look human at heavyweight because of his size, he would destroyed Mak, Prenga and Chisora.

 

You think Wilder looked in his prime vs Chisora?!

 

He's nowhere near as quick as Usyk and Chisora is slow, they both looked drunk in their fight and his power has diminished.

The stage of this era is now at the end of the Revenge of the Sith where all the jedi have been slaughtered & Moses Itauma is stood with a hood on watching the death star being built.

 

Who's declined most? Probably AJ.

Who's worst? Wilder, but then he always was... By a way.

Funny, because Deontay Wilder and Usyk both fought in the same weight class as amateurs, and Usyk fought Super Heavys like Joyce in that pro league before officially making his pro debut ... and Usyk tends to weigh more than Wilder NOW.

But you guys still make excuses about size for Usyk when he doesn't dominate.

Yes, it's hard for Usyk to dominate large heavyweights because they're heavier and naturally bigger. But that's ALWAYS been the case for Wilder. Wilder didn't try to win a cruiserweight belt before going for the heavyweight title.

Wilder has broken hands on these giants for years. But nobody cut him any slack, like they do Usyk.

Wilder was outweighed by everyone he fought -- every fight - for 12 straight years at one point.

Hell, Usyk fought in the 230s last time out. Wilder is just as likely to show up for a fight with Usyk at 213 or 214 (which he did against Parker and Zhang) as he is as 224.

Usyk has never weighed as light as 213 or 214 for a heavyweight fight in his life. Hell, Usyk was entering the ring on fight night making cruiserweight title defenses heavier than Wilder was just a couple years ago fighting Parker.

Wilder weighed as much in his eighth heavyweight title defense against Fury in 2018 as Usyk did in the WSB, before Oleksandr even turned pro.

Some on this board even accused the WBC of creating Bridgerweight so Wilder could win another belt, because Wilder was NEVER a big heavyweight like his peers.

So, if you're going to say "Usyk is always going to look human against at heavyweight because of his size" ... then show Wilder the same grace.

As far as who has looked worse this year, fact is, if not for some extremely biased refereeing, creative point deductions, and questionable judging, Wilder dominated Chisora.

Wilder punched him out of the ring three times. Dropped him another time (called a slip). Even should've had a standing eight against Chisora when Chisora called time out after Wilder punched him in the eye early in the fight. Wilder dominated inside the ring.

Usyk fought a guy with one pro fight. And Usyk needed questionable scoring to even have the lead in that one.

When Wilder and Usyk fight, Usyk will likely enter the ring as the heavier guy. And he'll need every bit of it. Because Wilder's going to bounce him all over the ring.

Wilder's finally going to get to fight a "name" who is his own size.

And people won't be able to make the excuse that Wilder is BIGGER or YOUNGER, and that's why Usyk lost, when Deontay does it.
