Prenga had AJ down in 20 seconds with an innocuous uppercut. Late 80's Tyson had far more offensive ability and fear factor than 20/1 soup can Prenga.

I feel like 2 mins is a fair enough time with respect to both

For reference, Tyson had 9 stoppage wins inside 60 seconds. And AJ would be under a lot more mental pressure due to the scale of the event, compared to the lesser names Tyson beat.

Well, if Joshua lasted the first round with Mike Tyson, he'd have these guys in the corner waiting for him before round 2.

"Don't go down. We need fire." That's it? Good thing Prenga was exhausted after the first round.

I think everyone owes Aaron Snowell an apology for his corner work in Tyson-Douglas.

I wonder if Usyk's guys will still be there when Joshua fights Tyson Fury next?

If AJ committed himself to the "don't box but survive" tactic, he could end up on his feet after the bell to end the first round.
That means a lot of clinching, running around the ring...

AJ looked shakey as hell in his last one. Tyson would have had him chasing his head down the aisles.

This would go like many fights Tyson had against large normally capable in the 80’s. Joshua doesn’t seem to have the chin to stand up to Tyson’s punch nor the defense to deal with Tyson’s style so it would end early. Wilder would suffer the same fate.

I could picture the ref trying to wave it off, Tyson ignoring it, and continuing his onslaught anyway.

Legitimately might not make it past R1. AJ is clearly at the point of his career where he should retire.

About as long as Spinks. Give mild credit to AJ -- he gets up when knocked down, so it's going to take 3x-5x to make it stick..
