Is Joshua-Fury still an intriguing fight as nobody is sure who has declined worse at this stage?

Still a fascinating fight for me. You never know which version of Fury will turn up, and physically speaking AJ is still in peak condition, it's just that he's taken a lot of damage and hasn't really keep as active as he should have against top opponents in the past few years.

I think style-wise this fight always favoured Fury, and it's his to lose. If power alone was enough to unseat Fury, then he would have lost to Wilder.

Aj has the power, but he also has a skillset Wilder could only dream of having.

DAZN ultimate is nice. Saves me from those “I’d kind of like to see this live but that undercard looks ****, do I spend $50?” decisions about PPV.

And Wilder has a chin AJ could only dream of having, to be fair. Wilder would have been annoyed at the collar tie upper cut, shoved Prenga off, then KOd him with a right, no embarrassing knockdowns.

Comparing their last outings Wilder looks like he has more in the tank than AJ does, and he's 38. In any case, i've generally maintained that skill-wise AJ is a poor mans Wlad and that Fury could outbox him (though probably not in a similar fashion now, as Sugar appears to have ruined Fury).

All AJ has left is power. His reflexes are gone, he only appears to have a moderate level of boxing skill when things are going his way, and he recently lost a 10-7 round to Prenga. God help him against Fury.

I think Wilder deals with Prenga similar to how he did Helenius. First round KO without being touched, even in his shaky form.

Honestly, it's worth it me to spend an extra $225 than to to deal with those dilemmas. It equates to about 3-4 ppvs per year and that's about what I get anyway.

Same here, so I hope it is on Netflix. I'm still sour about how I missed most of the Usyk Fury 2 fight because DAZN crashed at the start of the fight. Crap service.

Fury annoyed the bejesus out of Wlad to the point that it was one of Wlad's worst performances. Then he ducked Wlad by retiring. Thus, one could argue that his entire career somewhat relied on his pre-fight antics against Wlad.

Nahh, the fight is at least 3 years too late. 5-6 years ago would have been perfect. But hey, we got another fight of 2 washed up boxers! Who wouldn't love it!
