Should Usyk’s reasoning to fight Wilder mean he should fight Ruiz?

That's actually a great comparison. I wonder who would be considered to have had the better career? Probably Buster, right? At least he's got wins over McCall and Berbick on his record to go along with chinning Iron Mike. Andy got dropped but ultimately decisioned fat, old Arreola, beat Methuselah Ortiz, drew Big Pharma Miller, and fell off the map. He's got nothing on his resume to speak of outside of that fluke win over AJ.

I believe Joshua showed us how dim he was, ring IQ wise, rather than that Ruiz shined.

Joshua had his man hurt, gave up his massive eight inch reach advantage by getting close, while trying to put him away for his American debut. Once AJ gave that up trying to put on a show he got clipped, dropped and stopped.

Ruiz jr did what anyone with T-rex arms would do or could do in that situation, he fired back, won the fight and has done absolute ****all since.

A Wilder Usyk fight is absolute pointless. Usyk is clearly the better boxer in pretty much every way. It's just giving a Wilder a chance for a lucky shot, which he would have had a better chance at years ago.

I think Andy should have a decent fight before he gets in with Usyk though, he's had two fights in 4 years and has been out the ring two years.

Not interested in either of those fights at the moment.

Usyk vs Kabayel is really the only fight to be made at this current stage.

Usyk wants to fight a popular American heavyweight, so that the fight will be on Netflix, and Usyk will be paid at least $100M.

    So, the reason is: MONEY.
