    1. There was a wide gap between the offer to fight Gassiev for the WBA regular, WHICH THEY WANTED WHEN IT WAS PULEV, and the signing to fight Hrgovic for nothing. They just didn't answer the phone.

    2. This is all recent history and easily discoverable. It is just laziness not to do the research at this point.

You've got to stop this man. You're usually a very good poster but this Gassiev glazing has gone to ridiculous levels. Gassiev hasn't had a top win in nearly 9 years. Nobody is ducking him. He's seen as a free belt from most of the top heavyweights. Hrgovic is a much better HW than Gassiev and a far riskier fight. Any objective honest boxing fan can clearly see this.

No, dude, YOU have got to stop it. You are arguing obsessively about something that is recent history, well documented and that you are objectively wrong about. Like I said, it is just laziness at this point that you have not bothered to research it.

They signed Hrgovic well after Gassiev offered him a shot at the belt they wanted, and no, it's not a better fight, because nothing is on the line. You are speaking purely from your fantasy.

You aren't being objective at all with your ridiculous Gassiev glazing where you constantly trip over yourself performing mental gymnastics and making **** up to defend him. Fact is Gassiev has been finished as a top fighter for years and has done nothing of note since moving up to HW. He lost to the only credible opponent he's faced there. No serious boxing fan would agree with this lmao. It's the first true acid test of Itaumas career and Hrgovic has mixed it up with Zhang, Dubois, Joyce among others. He's a real proven HW contender. Gassiev is a washed up blown up CW who got a belt gifted to him. These are the facts. To pretend otherwise is fantasy.

If Itauma was fighting another shot to **** former contender, I’d understand the criticism of passing on the opportunity to face Gassiev. But now he’s facing a much more formidable HW in Hrgovic so who cares?

Dude, you did the research and admitted that Itauma "swerved" him, in your own words. You can't take that back, now. It is a matter of public record, just like Itauama swerving him.

I state in the post you quoted that he past on the opportunity to face Gassiev, so I don’t know hor you come to the conclusion that I tried to take it back. I’m saying that noone gives a **** (I certainly don’t) because he’s taking on a better HW next.

Gassiev punches harder than Hrgovic. Itauma's team probably don't want to risk him against a big puncher like that, just yet..

At any point in the fight Gassiev would be dangerous.

There are far more aspects to boxing than just punching power (every single one of which Hrgovic is better than Gassiev). Otherwise Ernie Shavers would be one of the best of all times when in reality he wasn’t even top5 of 70s alone, debatable if he was top10.

But it is the chin that is the question about Gassiev.

And stamina. And Hrgovic checks that box to, as he tends to give up half way through.

Hrgovic would have stopped Kadiru and Pulev as well. Probably sooner. He wouldn't have lost to Wallin. Gassiev hasn't really proved his power at HW against anyone that matters. So it's a moot point.

Hrgovic would beat the absolute **** out of Gassiev. You know it too.

Yes, because he absolutely blew out David Adeleye and Dempsey McKean, right?
