Who was greater? SRL 147 or Monzon 160

LOL !!! I read the post and its quit Laughable! . Monzon was a cherry picker you say, And his success and complete body of work at 160 which is recognized as one of the best in the history of the sport. falls so far short of what SRL did at 147 that its an " uneven and unfair " comparison. For a knowledgeable poster as yourself, this one was quit silly and amateur tbh. I get it , you just couldn't help yourself ...

Can you clear up whether your intention was greater as a H2H fighter at your designated weights or possessing a greater resume at those weights.

Monzon for me.

Leonard has better single wins but he has 6 world title wins at Welterweight compared to 15 for Monzon at Middleweight and that's quite a big difference.

I think Monzon edges it on dominance, consistency, and having twice as many world title wins.

And whilst Monzon's opposition isn't quite as good he still has Emilie Griffith, Jose Napoles, Nino Benvenuti, Bennie Briscoe, Rodrigo Valdez, etc.

So his very good opposition along with what I said above is enough for Monzon to get the edge for me.
