Boxers under age 25: who are the most impressive?

There were a couple of fighters on yesterday's card in Ireland who looked very promising: Bobbi Flood (age 21) and John Joe Carrigan (age 19). I hadn't heard of them until yesterday.

Queensberry has an abundance of promising young talent.

There's a number of very good young Uzbek heavyweights, who appear to have lots of talent but may not receive the promotion they should: Jakhongir Zokirov, Ozodbek Aliev (age 20), and Akmaljon Isroilov (age 20).

Who are some more of the better up-and-comers?

He's very good, but too easy to hit.

Jacob Bank is more of a complete boxer - good footwork, defense, punch variation, power, accuracy, etc.

In fairness Itauma is probably the best prospect at HW by a long distance.

    Yes, he appears to be.

But some of the talented young Uzbeks might do well if they had proper management and promotion.

Sir Guy Vorobiev? He might be too ancient to qualify.

Vyacheslav Rogozin (age 20) I think he has to the potential to be a multi weight champion in the lower weight divisions.

Abdullah Mason is probably the best U-25 fighter in the world right now.

Uzbeks indeed have some very good looking talents. Let's hope they do a better job adjusting their style to pros than the previous generation. I was extremely impressed with Fazliddin Erkinboev when I watched the World Championships in the UK last year.

Itauma is the obvious answer at HW, but David Surov will be there to give him a run for his money in the future.
